A diamond in the rough!

I had just adopted a rescue puppy, Sonny, and soon discovered that he has a persistant cough that was thought to have possibly been distemper. After getting several rounds of antibiotics from the vet at the pound where I adopted him, his health never improved. This went on for a few months. I decided to take him to LA Pet Clinic because it was near my home. Dr. Reina took radiographs and determined that he had severe pneumonia (which is a symptom of distemper). We put him on a couple of strong antibiotics and he was better in no time. The next time I brought him in was more than a year later. I was amazed that Dr. Reina remembered Sonny after having seen him only that first time. He told me he had wondered how Sonny was doing. It was then that I knew he was a keeper!
